(This news is a few weeks old. I'd been waiting for news from Creighton, but still have not heard from them -- probably any day now, though, if not this afternoon!)

Personal response: sort of happy, a bit unenthusiastic, counting my blessings it's not a rejection.
To elaborate: U Pitt is waitlisting about 50% of their interviewees (reportedly) which is around 500 applicants, and accepting outright very few, due to having accepted too many students last year. The likelihood of me being accepted off the waitlist is therefore, not unreasonable, but still not highly possible. I very much enjoyed this school, and I'm hoping to correspond with them again in the near future.
